Moreover, these units bear additional markings indicating their MEG Approval status and outlining the grounding wire fastening requirements. For added protection, the meter socket is temporarily shielded with 32ECT corrugated cardboard, safeguarding the socket jaws during transportation and installation. A clear instruction is provided, advising removal of the covering only upon meter installation, ensuring the integrity of the socket. All units are of the Ringless Meter Type, ensuring efficient functionality.
